POLOMARCONI leader company for train antennas, with his partner Oy Insalko Ab, awarded the VR Group tender for the VIRVE-antennas, supplying onboard multiband antenna TETRA, GSM-R, GPS.

The challenge was offer a high performant tetra antenna, with reduced height 70mm.

As all the other antennas for on board application, also this antenna contains our safety&security patent, to protect train’s drivers and cab radio from a possible electrical high voltage shock in case of breakdown of catenary 25 kV.
