Virve network train antenna

POLOMARCONI.IT is the leader company for train antennas and, with his Finnish business partner, was awarded the VR Group tender for the VIRVE train antennas, supplying onboard multiband antenna TETRA, GSM-R, GPS.

The challenge was to produce a high-performance tetra antenna, with reduced height of 70mm.

As all the other antennas for on board application, also this antenna contains our safety & security patent, to protect train’s drivers and cab radio from a possible electrical high voltage shock in case of breakdown of catenary 25 kV.
