POLOMARCONI.IT’s Research and Development Departments are located in two different sites:
R&D and ENVIRONMENT TEST LABORATORY in OSIO SOTTO (BG) includes the best NEXT-GENERATION FACILITIES:
- Anechoic chambers; Climatic chambers; Antennas test field; Electro-dynamic shaker systems;
- Several network analyzers and spectrum analyzers;
- Fast prototype CNC machining center;
- Most advanced CAD/CAE hardware and software;
- PIM Intermodulation test desks;
- Quality assurance and advanced tools (both commercial and proprietary) for antennas and filters simulatio
The agreement with BRUNO KESSLER FOUNDATION provides the collaboration with our R&D LABORATORY in TRENTO and the use of their laboratories, facilities and instruments, in particular the clean room.
With FBK and other Partners, we are moving towards the future of TELECOMMUNICATIONS TECHNOLOGIES:
- 5G Networks (and beyond),
- Networking, virtualization of network functions,
- Software-defined networks, fog and edge computing (multi-access edge computing, cloud computing),
- IoT platforms (wireless sensor networks, integrated gateway systems, distributed architectures without trust),
- Communication and network security (computer network monitoring, policy-based forwarding)
To further drive innovation, POLOMARCONI.IT has cooperation agreements with highly advanced Research Institutes, such as Fondazione Bruno Kessler (Engineer A. Bozzoli), where our office is located, University of Trento (Prof. M. Donelli), the Politecnico of Torino (Prof. G.Vecchi) and the University of Ferrara (Prof. P. Micolelli).
POLOMARCONI.IT has participated in a project provided by the Italian and European Space Agencies (A.S.I. – E.S.A.)
FBK Institute: 2 Hubs, 7 Research centres, over 400 Researchers, 1 specialized Library with more than 230.000 volumes.
