This product on GSM/GPRS bands is part of an interesting “passive repeater” technical solution in areas where the communication between gas/water smart counter and WIDE AREA NETWORK (WAN) is annulled or drastically reduced due the metal cabinet or others interposing obstacles.
The repeaters are completely passive, without requiring any electrical energy power supply.
