POLOMARCONI.IT supports the evolution of vvfilmf: introducing the Guglielmo Marconi Film Festival

Last week, the 15th edition of vvfilmf – the International Youth Film Festival came to a close at Villa Zileri in Monteviale (Vicenza). The event, organised by Associazione 400 Colpi and supported by POLOMARCONI.IT as main partner, once again brought together students, filmmakers and educators around a shared passion for cinema.

The 2025 edition, titled “Beyond the Horizon, Without Borders”, paid tribute to the renowned astrophysicist Margherita Hack, a symbol of curiosity, free thought and boundary-breaking research.
This year’s competition featured 12 films from Belarus, Canada, China, Germany, Iran, Italy, Russia and the United States, evaluated by the Youth Jury, made up of thousands of students from Italian schools in Italy and abroad. Once again, vvfilmf proved to be a key platform for nurturing young talent and promoting cinema as a vehicle for growth, inclusion and cultural innovation.

The POLOMARCONI.IT Award

During the closing ceremony, Domenico Zanini, President of the company, presented the POLOMARCONI.IT Award to Armchair Traveller by Rebeka Herron.

POLOMARCONI.IT strongly believes in creating opportunities for young people, opening spaces for creative growth and giving future generations the means to express their vision through cinema.” – said Zanini – “This award reflects our commitment to supporting initiatives that foster innovation, experimentation and emerging talent.”

A new identity for the festival

The 2025 edition marked a turning point in the festival’s journey: vvfilmf will evolve into the Guglielmo Marconi Film Festival, a new identity inspired by Marconi’s legacy of connection, imagination and technological openness.

POLOMARCONI.IT will continue to accompany this transformation with an even more strategic and long-term commitment, supporting a festival that brings together technology, communication and culture—three pillars that have always defined our company’s identity.
